Fibreglass pools in Taree and the Manning

This is about as short a delivery run as we do. Australian-made shells, NSW engineering in the pack, and you choose whether you install it, your builder does, or we arrange it. Every pool comes as a complete kit: the shell, the Essentials equipment package, the engineering pack with the NSW certificate, and freight. Comfort adds heating, Effortless adds the lot.

The shortest run we do

Freight is a real cost that moves with distance. Taree, Wingham, Cundletown, Old Bar, Harrington and Manning Point are all a short run from the yard, so the delivery part of your price is about as small as it gets. That is the whole reason a pool costs different money in different towns.

It also means we can get to you. Before we price anything we look at your block on the aerial and the planning maps, and being local makes delivery day simple to plan.

Ground around the Manning

River flats and flood levels

A lot of Taree, Cundletown and Croki sits on the Manning floodplain. Your council will have a flood planning level for the address, and it changes what the certifier wants to see. Check it before you commit to a spot in the yard, because it is easier to design around at the start than to argue about later.

Coastal sand at Old Bar and Harrington

Closer to the beach you are usually in sand. Sand digs easily but will not hold a wall, so the hole is cut and the shell set without leaving an open excavation sitting around. It is a sequencing question more than a cost question.

A high water table

Low ground near the river and the creeks can carry a high water table, and a fibreglass shell is buoyant. That is normal to design for. You want hydrostatic relief and you keep the pool full. Tell us if your block sits low and we will raise it before you dig.

Approval through MidCoast Council

Most backyard pools in New South Wales go through as a complying development with a private certifier, and the rest go to council as a development application. Either way the engineered shell drawing, the installation details and the Certificate of Compliance come in your kit, which is what your certifier asks for first.

Your pool barrier has to meet AS 1926.1 and the pool gets registered on the NSW Swimming Pool Register within 30 days.

Access and the crane

The shell comes in on a truck and is craned into the hole. What matters is the gap it has to pass through, what is overhead, and where a truck and a crane can stand. Measure your side access at its tightest point, 900 mm is the usual pinch, and look up for powerlines. Our delivery and crane access guide covers what actually matters. Send a photo of the side of your house and the street and we will tell you straight.

The crane is not in the kit price. It is booked and paid for separately by you or your builder, and around here budget $1,800 to $3,200 for the crane day plus the float, depending on reach and how long it has to sit there.

What a finished pool costs around here

The kit is one number and you get it up front. The rest of the job, excavation, crane, plumbing and electrical, backfill and the bond beam, paving and fencing, is quoted by your trades. For a typical family pool with reasonable access, most people land somewhere in the fifties to the high sixties all in. Rock, a crane over the house or a big paving budget move it. The cost guide breaks every line down.

What you get, and who puts it in

Every pool comes as one kit: the Australian-made shell in any of the twelve colours, the Essentials equipment package, the engineering pack with the NSW certificate and freight to your site. The shell carries a 25-year structural warranty. See what is in it.

Your own builder or trades

Most people install the kit with their own builder or trades. It is the cheapest honest way to a quality pool, and we are on the phone the whole way. More on the supply only page.

Our licensed crew

Rather not organise the trades? On sites that suit, our licensed crew can install it, priced after we have looked at your block.

Not sure what fits? The yard planner drops any pool in the range onto the satellite view of your own block at true scale, so you can see the setbacks and the paving before you ring anyone.

Buying for a job in town: builders and landscapers around the Manning buy the kit from us and install with their own crew. Shells nest, so several can share one truck. Ask about trade pricing.

Common questions

Is a pool cheaper in Taree because your yard is here?

The delivery part of it is, yes. Freight is worked out from the yard to your site, so a short run costs less than a long one. The shell, the equipment and the engineering pack cost the same wherever they go.

Do you deliver to Wingham, Old Bar and Harrington?

Yes, and to Cundletown, Manning Point, Hallidays Point and the rest of the Manning. Tell us your suburb and we price the delivery properly rather than guessing at it.

My block is on the floodplain. Can I still put a pool in?

Usually yes, it just has to be designed for it. Your council has a flood planning level for the address, and a high water table means hydrostatic relief and keeping the pool full. Send us the address and we will look at it before you spend anything.

Want a delivered price for your Taree address?

Tell us the model and your suburb and we will come back with one delivered number, freight included. No obligation and we do not put you on a mailing list. Not sure it will fit, or that a truck can get in? Ask for a free site and access check.
